Privacy Policy
Effective April 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fillr (“Fillr”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, Chrome extension, and related services (the “Service”).
Our website is fillrai.com and this policy is available at /privacy.
Information we collect
- Account information: if you sign in, we receive identifiers needed to authenticate you and manage your account (such as email address and a user or account ID).
- Workspace and tab data: when you use the Fillr extension to organize your browser, we process information about open tabs in the active window—such as page titles, URLs, and favicons—and workspace names, order, and Chrome tab group settings you choose.
- Information you provide: messages you send us through contact or support channels.
- Usage data: basic diagnostic and usage information such as device type, browser type, pages viewed on our site, and timestamps.
Chrome extension
Fillr runs as a Chrome extension. We access tab and window information only when you open or interact with Fillr—for example, when you organize tabs, rename a workspace, or move a site between workspaces.
Fillr does not collect your browsing history in the background. Workspace state is stored in your browser (and may sync with your account when you are signed in, depending on how the Service is configured).
Authentication
You can sign in to Fillr using third-party authentication providers.
Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information such as your name, email address, and account identifier. We use this to create and manage your Fillr account, enforce usage limits, and provide paid access where offered. We do not receive or store your Google password.
AI processing
Some Fillr features may send text you submit and minimal related context to our backend and to AI service providers to generate results you request. We aim to process only what is necessary for the action you take. Tab organization in the extension primarily uses on-device and server-side logic that does not require sending full page content for every tab.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and extension features.
- Organize tabs into workspaces and sync workspace state when you use an account.
- Create and manage accounts, enforce usage limits, and provide paid access.
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
- Communicate with you about updates, support, and important notices.
Payments
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Fillr does not store full credit card numbers. We may store billing-related identifiers such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, and subscription status to manage access to paid features.
How we share information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:
- Service providers (subprocessors): vendors that help us deliver hosting, authentication, data storage, payments, and AI processing. See our Subprocessors page.
- Legal: if required to comply with law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business changes: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of stored account data by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Access / deletion: request access to or deletion of stored content by emailing us.
- Extension: you can remove the extension from Chrome at any time, which stops further collection through the extension.
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above indicates when this policy was last revised.
